The Science - Toxic Chemicals

Picture

Sodium Fluoride was first used for fluoridation when the City of Prince George began fluoridation September 12, 1955.  The effects sodium fluoride has on people was suggested to be benign, not harmful, recommended by "experts" with the Cariboo Health Unit.  So fluoridation was sold to the City, Mayor and Council as the best solution to help reduce cavities in the teeth of everyone, especially our children and low income or disadvantaged homes.

Some of the defined and known effects from drinking diluted sodium fluoride:  "EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: DANGER! May be fatal if swallowed or inhaled. Affects respiratory system, heart, skeleton, circulatory system, central nervous system and kidneys. Causes irritation to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Irritation effects may be delayed.”

This video provides a perspective of the scientific information known in 1955 regarding the harmful impacts from fluoridation,
demonstrating the impacts of sodium fluoride killing mammalian cells.  People are mammals, so sodium fluoride harms people!  The harmful effects from fluoridation to humans have been known for many years.

In 2014, Hydrofluorosilicic acid (Fluorosilicic acid) is being applied to our bathing, swimming, waters, pets, gardens, lawns and drinking water.

The current chemical supplier for the City of Prince George is ClearTech.  Linked is the Material Safety Data Sheet, federally required for the safe identification, health risks, transporting needs and toxic properties of the hazardous waste product, fluoride bearing chemical added to our drinking water.

Some of the defined and known effects from drinking diluted hydrofluorosilicic (fluorosilicic) acid: “HEALTH HAZARDS:  Acute and chronic: Target Organs: eyes, skin, respiratory & gastrointestinal tracts.  Acute- Corrosive/Toxic. Eyes/skin: Causes Severe Burns, eye damage, severe irritation.  May cause blindness.  Oral: Causes severe burns of mouth, throat, stomach. Inhale: severe irritation, pain, inflammation. Chronic- may cause fluorosis.”

You and your children and pets are drinking this stuff in every glass of water, cup of coffee and tea!

The City of Prince George and Northern Health are choosing to withhold the ingredients list of the hydrofluorosilicic acid used in our water.  Fluoridation Free Ottawa has obtained an ingredient list from a chemical supplier in Jacksonville, Florida, one of a few supplier sources, (which also includes Mexico, China, Canada and the United States.)

Notice the DO NOT SEND OUT highlighted in yellow in the pdf report below.

It would seem suppliers are not interested in sharing what toxic substances are found in their toxic waste “product” rated as COMMERCIAL GRADE, whatever that means. Although the acid itself is reported at 24% of the solution, which contains 6 atoms of elemental Fluorine, that elemental substance is present in the solution at 18.5% as the extremely poisonous elemental Fluorine gas in suspension in the fluid mix and 1% of the highly toxic Hydrogen Fluoride. Then there are significant amounts of lead, arsenic, mercury, chromium and other inorganic elemental substances. The word significant is used for this reason: if every truckload contains about 40 tons of this acid, that means that there are 1,270,058.6 mg of arsenic in that mix. That's a lot of arsenic. Maybe the truckload is 30 tons, it's still a lot of arsenic and other contaminants.  Even when dissolved in the water, these will accumulate in our body and eventually harm our health in one way or another.

Lead, arsenic and mercury are forbidden by Ontario water safety regulations from being directly added to the water supply, but, somehow, they are allowed to be added indirectly with this acid, a toxic fluoride industrial waste chemical stew. Because this acid is supposed to be good for a few children's teeth? But wait a minute. What beverages do most children drink? Don't they consume mostly fruit juices, fruit drinks, soft drinks, energy drinks, sports drinks, bottled water and so little actual tap water that any tooth medicine added to tap water may hardly have any impact at all even if adding this acid did work as claimed in reducing or preventing tooth decay?

Is it possible that sugar, consuming too much is toxic and a main reason teeth and people are in trouble?  A report by Sixty minutes seems to think that may be the case.  Forced fluoridation is not the solution to healthy teeth or people!

A major omission in this ingredient spec sheet is the radioactive nucleotides. They have been shown to be present in results from independent labs when specifically asked for.

Both the City of Prince George and Northern Health have chosen to withhold the ingredient list for the hydrofluorosilicic acid that is purchased by the City of Prince George and added to all of our treated water.  Northern Health states that as they are not the owner of the information, they suggest they have no responsibility to tell anyone!  But they can tell you it is safe, "trust us", we are smarter than you!

If fluoridation, using hydrofluorosilicic acid was safe, and benign, and good for us, why would they continue to hide the country of origin and the ingredients listing?  What don't they want you to know?

Mercury:

Hydrofluorosilicic acid is known to contain lead, arsenic, mercury, chromium and approximately 19 other known to be toxic ingredients.

Most companies, suppliers of hydrofluorosilicic (fluorosilicic) acid will not provide ingredient information.  FOI requests to the City of Prince George and Northern Health have been ongoing since 2013 requesting a list of ingredients, including the county of origin and other reasonably requested information.  No hydrofluorosilicic acid ingredient information has been provided as of May 3, 2014.

FOI requests are ongoing.

The University of Calgary (1997), faculty of Medicine demonstrated the harm consuming mercury causes in this video.

EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:

"The substance may have effects on the central nervous system and kidneys, resulting in emotional and psychic instability, tremor mercurialis, cognitive disturbances, speech disorders.  Danger of cumulative effects.  Animal tests show that this substance possibly causes toxic effects upon human reproduction."

Picture
Arsenic:

Dartmouth University Medical School conducted a study on drinking low dose arsenic levels over time. Something we are doing by consuming fluoridated water in the City of Prince George.  The harmful effects are significant. "Arsenic has been known to be acutely toxic for millennial."  Arsenic is mostly entering our bodies, through consuming, cooking with, bathing and swimming in City water.

"Low dose arsenic consumption has been related to cancer..."

EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED ARSENIC EXPOSURE:

"Repeated or prolonged contact with skin may cause dermatitis.  Repeated or prolonged contact may cause skin sensitization.  The substance may have effects on the mucous membranes, skin, kidneys, liver, resulting in neuropathy, pigmentation disorders, perforation of nasal septum and tissue lesions. This substance is carcinogenic to humans."

LEAD

Lead in the Environment

Lead is a naturally-occurring element that can be harmful to humans when ingested or inhaled, particularly to children under the age of six.  Lead is confirmed to be one of the many toxic chemicals added with hydrofluorosilicic acid to our drinking water by the City of Prince George, supported by Northern Health.  Lead poisoning can cause a number of adverse human health effects, but is particularly detrimental to the neurological development of children. To learn more about the effects of lead poisoning and EPA's role in reducing the presence of lead in the environment, visit EPA Lead.

In adults, lead poisoning can cause:

·    poor muscle coordination, nerve damage to the sense organs and nerves controlling the body,
increased blood pressure

·   hearing and vision impairment, reproductive problems (e.g., decreased sperm count),
retarded fetal development even at
     relatively low exposure levels

In children, lead poisoning can cause:

·    damage to the brain and nervous system,  behavioral problems, anemia, liver and kidney damage,
hearing loss
·    hyperactivity, developmental delays, in extreme cases, death.

Hydrofluorosilicic (Fluorosilicic) Acid, currently used to add toxic fluoride into City drinking water, also contains varying amounts of lead!  The chemical content, ingredients of hydrofluorosilicic acid can change with every new delivered shipment!

Are you worried or concerned for your children yet?  You should be!

Fluoride, Dr William J. Hirrzy.  Fluoridation, dental fluorosis causes adverse effects on the brain, the teeth, bones and other parts of the human body. Three US trial Judges have defined unreasonable risks of harm from fluoridation in children including behavioral issues.

There are over forty two (42) different types of fluorides.  Some pharmaceutical grade and purified forms are used by qualified, trained dentists and hygienists.  Other uses, such as refrigerants, are harmful to our atmosphere, the air we breath, destroying the ozone layer.  Still others are harmful when consumed by people, pets, then dumped into our environment.
